Sailing Directions in form of Ploigos are an indispensable supplement of nautical charts. Ploigos, give detailed descriptions of coasts, dangers and ports along with instructions about sailing into bays and ports, sailing through narrows and channels and generally information for a safe sail.
The edition of nautical instructions is in 4 volumes (2 of those also available in english language) which are kept updated through amendments for better information for seamen. Areas covered by each volume are shown in the following chart.
